Training

Evacuating casualty from Goatfell summit in poor weather
Throughout 2025, the Arran Mountain Rescue Team maintained a strong focus on training to ensure readiness for all types of callouts.

Regular sessions included search techniques, first aid refreshers, rope skills, and navigation exercises, often conducted in challenging terrain to mirror real-life callout conditions.

Thank You!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters and fundraisers. The majority of our running costs come from generous donations, and every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.

Your support allows us to continue training, maintaining equipment, and most importantly, responding when people are in need on the hills.
We couldn’t do what we do without you, and we are truly grateful for the vital role you play in helping us keep everyone on the Arran hills safe.
