Traquair House

On 10 October, a happy coachload of 3Ls members and friends enjoyed a sunny trip to Traquair House, Scotland’s Oldest Inhabited House, visited by 27 Scottish Kings and Queens Traquair, dating back to 1107 and lived in by the Stuart family since 1491. Our friendly guides gave us a warm welcome and explained we were free to explore the House, Maze and gardens. In the afternoon, we headed off to Peebles for a chance to wander, shop or indulge in a late lunch before returning to the Graham Hills Building.
