Hospital Care Consultation

Our SOPA collegaues have drawn our attention to a consultation exercise by Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s Standards and Indicators Team, who are working to update the standards of care for older people in hospitals, originally drafted in 2015. The team is looking to explore the scope of this project – what areas should be covered by these new standards and what areas should not be covered.
 
In order to properly define the scope, they are embarking on a process of data collection over the next two months to establish what evidence and views there are among stakeholders about what the scope should be.
